It’s becoming increasingly common to find people seeking comfort. Many come to me seeking advice, but they’re truly seeking a new breath, motivation, and strength to carry on.

Let me ask you a question: How is your heart? Perhaps you’ve recently experienced difficult situations: financial struggles, emotional pressures, anxiety, family conflicts, loneliness, etc. And maybe you’ve been seeking answers for a long time.

Most people seek comfort in worldly things: relationships, vices, money, fame, etc. But over time, they realize they end up feeling emptier.

In this blog, I would like to share a bit about my experience with the Comforter, the Holy Spirit of God, so you can get to know Him and receive what you desperately need.

“If ye love me, keep my commandments. And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever;” (John 14:15-16, KJV)

We must remember that God created man as a tripartite being: spirit, soul, and body. Usually, when our body is sick, we go to a doctor for diagnosis and treatment, which is straightforward. But what happens when the pain is in the soul? No doctor can treat it, only the Holy Spirit of God.

The Holy Spirit is the only one who knows and can meet your needs.

“For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God.” (1 Corinthians 2:11, KJV)

This passage allows us to understand that there are places in our hearts that only the Holy Spirit knows and that only He can address. Each person has a different need, even though many face similar situations. But only the Comforter knows exactly what you have lived through, and He is willing to comfort you genuinely.

The Holy Spirit is always with us.

The passage from John shows us the promise that Jesus left us and clearly states that the Holy Spirit will always be with us. Can you grasp it? This means that no matter if you have been away from the Lord or feel your wounds are too deep, He has not abandoned you and is waiting with open arms to restore you.

This also means that even though it may seem like it, you will never be alone, for God has always been with you, and if you decide to turn back to Him with all your heart.

A promise for all who have been broken.

“He will swallow up death in victory; and the Lord GOD will wipe away tears from off all faces; and the rebuke of his people shall he take away from off all the earth: for the LORD hath spoken it.” (Isaiah 25:8, KJV)

Dear friend, it’s practically impossible to live a balanced life if we do not maintain closeness with the Holy Spirit. The Lord has guided us to seek Him more intentionally, and I know that if you do so, you will see the fulfillment of this promise in your life.

I pray that you personally know the Holy Spirit and receive comfort for your soul. I invite you to declare with me: Holy Spirit, I need you!
