I believe we are living in a time of great spiritual awakening. All around the world, people are thirsty for the gospel; hearts are wide open to receive the Word. And especially during this Christmas season, many are genuinely seeking a deeper connection with God.

If you are looking for a devotional this Christmas or a meaningful way to celebrate with genuine faith, I invite you to read this blog.

The Bible gives us the answer to the question everyone has: the only way to connect with God is through Jesus. He Himself said:

“I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.”
— John 14:6 (ESV)

It is only through His redeeming work that we can have true fellowship with the Father and receive the Holy Spirit as our Comforter and Guide.

We are all seeking to draw closer to God, but true devotion goes far beyond saying a prayer or attending a special service once a year. That is why I want to share a few simple tips—and at the end, a gift that will help you live a Christmas full of faith.

Seek Jesus through the Bible

The most powerful weapon a Christian has is the Bible—God’s own Word. If you truly want to know Jesus, you must dedicate time to reading it. It’s not enough to quickly read a couple of verses in the morning before rushing out the door.

I know there are daily challenges, but it’s impossible to build a life of faith, prayer, and devotion without deeply knowing Scripture.

Make it your goal for this Christmas to be marked by meaningful time in the Word.

Let your pursuit of God be reflected in your actions

Someone who truly desires something from God must pursue the right attitudes. If you want to draw near to His heart this season, start by giving what you have to those around you.

Spend quality time with your family, share Christ with those who do not yet know Him, serve in your church, and help people in need.

There are no “vacations” in a genuine relationship with God

For many, the end of the year is a vacation season, and rest is essential. But your relationship with God can’t take a break.

Stay connected to your local church, and use your time off to remain in the silence of God’s presence.

Additionally, I want to share a devotional guide with you that includes 5 powerful reflections to help strengthen your faith this Christmas. Each one helps you better understand an aspect of the nature of Jesus and includes a simple prayer guide.

I pray it will be a blessing to your life.
